A 48-year-old man has died after being found seriously injured inside a unit in north-west Sydney.
Police were called to a property on Curzon Street in Ryde at around 5pm after reports of an assault.
Officers and paramedics treated an unconscious man who was found inside his unit.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Police said the man has yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway with the assistance of homicide detectives into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
