Religion and politics are sensitive issues that have a major impact on the lives of individuals and societies.
When some use religion as a tool to achieve political goals, it can exacerbate tensions and deepen divisions.
Mixing religion and politics makes politics more vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation.
Religion is a means for the weak
Therefore, religion is considered a tool for brainwashing and harnessing people to do what politicians want.
It is therefore essential not to mix religion and politics, to ensure respect for religious beliefs and maintain political integrity at the same time.
Also, the politician’s use of religion to convince people of what he wants is a means of weakness, not strength.
Because this means that he does not have the argument of persuasion and the use of reason and logic, so he resorts to religion to control people’s minds and exploit them.
And now we are suffering from some Arabs using religious texts to fight Israel.
Hate speech
The Quranic verses that incite hatred towards non-Muslims should not be exploited by politicians to fight Israel.
Unfortunately, it is not only Muslims who are saturated with hatred for Jews, but some Christians have also inherited it from them.
This is because Christians were raised and lived among Muslims, so they began to speak like them, that Israel is the cause of the world’s destruction.
And that the Jews are hated and cursed and must be exterminated.
These ideas are destructive ideas that do not call for progress, but rather call for regression and a return to a time that passed 1400 years ago.
Nabih Berri
The Australian newspaper Al-Mustaqbal reported that the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, acknowledged that Hezbollah has the right to respond to the Israeli “aggression.”
This politician was not afraid to use the word “aggression” against Israel, perhaps because he belongs to the Shiite sect and is thus flattering Hezbollah.
Or maybe because he has been saturated with false teachings since his childhood.
It was not only Berri, but there are those who are not Muslims, but they are saturated with the same destructive ideas.
They are truly people who need to modify their ideas and concepts, and they must abandon all destructive thought and hate speech, and not mix religion and politics.
Religion and weapons
The people who use religion must also use weapons.
For it is written: Fight those who do not believe in God or in the Last Day and do not consider unlawful what God and His Messenger have made unlawful and do not adopt the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture (i.e. the Jews and Christians) until they pay the jizyah willingly while they are subdued.
How can they fight without weapons? Therefore, weapons must be used as long as politics is implemented by religion.
Hate speech will continue to exist as long as relations between people are governed by religion.
I repeat the same words: Worship your God in the way that makes you comfortable. Create different religions and sects as you want.
But do not mix religion and politics, because it is a trick of the weak.
