General Chauhan also visited key military institutions, including the Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC), where he was briefed on Australia’s operational command structure and explored potential channels for enhancing joint operations. Additional engagements included visits to the Australian Defence Force Headquarters and the Royal Australian Navy’s Fleet Command, strengthening coordination in maritime security and strategic operations.

As India and Australia continue to expand their defence partnership, the visit also facilitated dialogue on joint military exercises, defence technology collaboration, and personnel exchanges. Both countries actively participate in bilateral and multilateral exercises, including Exercise Malabar, a major naval drill among Quad nations.
