Optus outage resolved after affecting residents in Melbourne’s west
An underground fibre break that caused another Optus outage in Melbourne’s west has been resolved.
Customers in Melton were most affected after a number of mobile towers experienced “service issues” early this morning.
It comes just weeks after an Optus outage left millions of people without phone or internet services for nearly 14 hours.
The network issues have been resolved and everything should be back in working order, according to Optus.
“If you’re still having troubles with calls or data, please switch your device off and on and try again,” its service status page said.
