A young child has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after an incident at a theme park pool in Perth.
The five-year-old girl was pulled from the main pool at Adventure Worldabout midday.
In statement to NCA Newswire, the theme park said the lifeguard checked the young girl’s vitals and commenced CPR immediately.
“The girl responded within moments and was then stabilised until the ambulance arrived,” a spokeswoman said.
She was taken to Perth’s Children’s Hospital for observation and is in a stable continue but continues to be monitored.
“Ambulance Services have also made contact with us to commend our team and the guests involved for their first response actions,” an Adventure World spokesperson said.
“We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the guests who played a pivotal role in this incident.”
